Research: Application of the IOC Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport Clinical assessment tool in elite ballet
Bio: Dr Kate Hutchings is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant who has a wealth of experience in working with both elite athletes and recreational sports women across a wide variety of sports and dance. Kate works at the Royal Ballet as medical advisor, and she is currently the clinical lead for the female athlete service at the UK Sports Institute. In this role, she works within a multidisciplinary team to provide both clinical and performance advise to Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Â Kate has supported athletes as part of Team GB, BOA and Team England at multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
Kate is passionate about bringing her expertise and experience to supporting all physically active women to help them train and perform to their potential with their health and well-being at the forefront.
