This course is an exam preparation course for the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM) Diploma in Exercise Medicine.
The FSEM Diploma in Exercise Medicine intends to assess knowledge and clinical application of Exercise Medicine in health and disease states.
The aim of the Diploma is to set the standard for Exercise Medicine knowledge across the breadth of healthcare professions, a benchmark against which both commissioners and patients can quality assure.

Doctors with a primary medical qualification suitable for registration with the General Medical Council or Irish Medical Council and comply with all other requirements of the regulations.
Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHPs) who wish to improve and demonstrate their knowledge and interest in exercise medicine.
Advanced Nurse Practitioners (or equivalent), registered with the Royal College of Nursing with experience in primary care.
Allied Health Professionals registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council, including Physiotherapists with registration of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
International Healthcare professionals registered with their relevant international organisation.
Other candidates are considered on an individual basis at the discretion of the Faculty.
