This BASEM Revision Course is an exam preparation Course for the FSEM Diploma in Team Care exam which sets the standards for Team Care across sport and exercise medicine.
Team Care involves the medical care of injury and illness in sport and exercise. It requires accurate diagnosis, careful clinical examination, experience and knowledge of sport and exercise specific movement patterns.

What to Expect
Find below a list of our most frequently asked questions that we have put together to inform of things you be interested to know before signing up for the course.
- Doctors with a primary medical qualification suitable for registration with the General Medical Council or Irish Medical Council, and who comply with all other requirements of the regulations.
- Physiotherapists with registration of the Health & Care Professions Council.
- Nurse Practitioners (or equivalent), registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with experience in Team Care delivery.
- Allied Health Professionals registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
- International healthcare professionals registered with their relevant international organisation.
- Candidates (e.g. Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Paramedics, Sports Therapists, Sport Rehabilitators) where Team Care delivery is part of the job role.
- Other candidates are considered on an individual basis at the discretion of the Faculty.
