BASEM Informal Networking Groups (BINGS)
The main role and purpose of the BING is to network with like-minded fellow members. Share knowledge within the group enabling the individual and fellow members to explore and learn about areas of sport and exercise medicine.

Each informal networking Group will have up to 10 members, with each group meeting on a quarterly basis.

Each group is a community of BASEM members who wish to network around different aspects of SEM; learn from each other; support each other; explore each other’s role within SEM; help BASEM with suggestions and ideas on improving membership benefits and introducing new membership benefits.
Anyone who is a member of the Association and has the commitment to attend and contribute to a group can become a member of a BING.
There will be several groups meeting at any one time. They will meet on a quarterly basis. Once you are allocated to a group you stay in it, until you leave BASEM or wish to move on to another group.
Appointment to a BING carries significant responsibilities and requires absolute discretion. Bing members shall not divulge, re-produce, or release any confidential information except when authorised by BASEM. BASEM requests that anyone who joins such a group complies with prevailing law and confidentiality rules which apply to their professional body.
