Travel to attend the ASICS SMA Conference and education. research and clinical practice exchange visit to La Trobe University

Bio: Dr Paulina Kloskowska is a Consultant Physiotherapist specialising in complex lower body injuries in women in sport. She works with women across all sporting levels – from amateur to elite and Olympic athletes – designing strategic recovery and load management programmes that integrate biomechanics, performance, and long-term health. Her approach is grounded in understanding and supporting the women-specific contexts in which female athletes train and compete, recognising that these often differ from those of their male counterparts.

Alongside her clinical work, Paulina is an active researcher focused on women in sport. She leads an international, UEFA-funded collaboration across six Central and Eastern European countries aimed at improving injury prevention in women’s football. She also leads projects investigating hip and groin biomechanics and pain in female athletes, as well as broader injury prevention strategies in women’s sport.

Paulina remains active academically as a Visiting Lecturer at King’s College London and an Honorary Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, where she teaches on topics centred around female athletes, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

Her overarching goal is to support female athletes and help to equalise the playing field for women in sport—from a clinical, research, and educational perspective. Her key interests include hip and groin biomechanics, female athlete health, and injury prevention strategies.
