2023 BASEM Travelling Fellowship Winner: Dr Irfan Ahmed

Attended: Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Qatar.

I was grateful to have received the 2023 BASEM travelling fellowship award and visit the Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Qatar. This world leading centre is a FIFA medical centre of Excellence and took centre stage to provide specialist sports medicine services during the recent and hugely successful first Winter World cup.
