2021 BASEM External Meeting Sponsorship Award Winner: Dr John Brooks

Australian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP) Annual Conference.

Bio: Dr. John Brooks is currently working as a Sports Doctor at a clinic in Melbourne, as well as working in NRL Rugby League, Australian Rules Football and the National Basketball League (NBL). Prior to moving to Australia, he was predominately working in professional rugby, and in MSK and Sports Medicine clinics in the UK.

As part of his PhD, he set up the England Professional Rugby Surveillance Project and has published more than 40 academic Sports Medicine papers.
