2020 BASEM Travelling Fellowship Winner: Dr Jill Neale

Bio: Jill is a final year specialty registrar in sports and exercise medicine in the East Midlands. She has previously undertaken academic training in Leicester and is particularly interested in the use of physical activity in chronic disease and health promotion, having completed her MRes dissertation on the use of exercise in renal transplant recipients and the cardiopulmonary exercise testing accreditation through the Peri-Operative Exercise Testing and Training Society.

She has also completed a Health Education England Management and Leadership Fellowship and a Postgraduate Certificate in leadership for healthcare professionals and is interested in improving awareness and utilisation of exercise referral services from secondary care and in quality improvement within the sport and exercise medicine service.
