Paper: Run, walk, cheer or volunteer: a patient and public involvement survey

I am a junior doctor based in Sheffield with a keen interest in Sport and Exercise Medicine. I am currently working towards my masterโ€™s degree through the University of Bath, and I oversee the social media for the British Journal of Sports Medicine. I am passionate about improving access to physical activity for all, and found this project based at Sheffield Children’s Foundation Trust enjoyable and meaningful. With a huge thank you to BASEM for making publication possible by granting the BOSEM Article Processing Charges Award, and of course to my esteemed co-authors, Debbi, and Rosh.

Roshan is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Club Doctor at Sheffield United Football Club.

Deborah Rowley

Debbi Rowley is an Advanced Physiotherapist working at Sheffield Childrenโ€™s NHS Foundation Trust with over 15 yearsโ€™ experience in oncology and neuro services. ย Her research interests Centre around physical activity for children who have had a diagnosis of cancer. Debbi has presented at National and International conferences on physical activity in the childhood cancer population. Debbi and the team she works alongside at Sheffield Childrenโ€™s FT have developed an annual community based activity day to encourage the children and families that they work with to take up or return to community based activities, which has received national awards and has been rolled out to other Centreโ€™s. Debbi is one of the lead clinicians in the Active Hospitals Programme at Sheffield Childrenโ€™s FT.
