2020 BASEM MSc in SEM Bursary Winner: Dr David Eastwood

Research: MSc Project: Association between training factors and race day medical encounters at endurance events

Bio: David is a doctor based in Yorkshire currently working in rugby league, football and general practice. He is completing his MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Bath. As a result of his own interests in distance running, his planned project will look at injury and illness at the Brighton Marathon.
