Dr Owen Gallagher is a GP working in student health in University College Dublin (UCD). He studied medicine at the University of Galway and completed his GP training in Sligo. Following GP training he studied a master’s degree in primary care musculoskeletal medicine & orthopaedics at UCD graduating with first class honours and he has recently become a member of the RCPI/RCSI Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine. Previously he was team doctor with the Kildare GAA senior hurling team and is currently team doctor with the Kildare GAA senior football team.
