Monica Raviraj is a 5th-year medical student at University College London (UCL), where she also completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH). She conducted research on the effects of the menstrual cycle on spatial anticipation and presented this as a poster.
A former competitive tennis player who competed internationally and ranked among Britain’s top juniors, Monica developed an early interest in the connection between health and athletic performance. Her role as a Physician Assistant at Elite Sports Medical Professional Services Ltd. in Moorgate has further reinforced her interest in athlete health.
She looks forward to further building her portfolio and pursing a career in SEM.
