Dr Tom Leggett is a GP with extended roles in Sport and Exercise Medicine – predominantly in Team Sport. He has an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Musculo-Skeletal ultrasound. He is currently reading for another master’s degree in Sports Directorship.
He works as the Team Doctor for England Rugby (Women’s U20s), England Para-Football (Cerebral Palsy) and RFU academy teams (Midlands – West and Central). He is the Club Doctor at Port Vale Football Club. Alongside this he works as a GP locum in general practice and MSK medicine.
He joins in a General Trustee role and has become part of the BASEM Today Editorial Team.
Away from his professional commitments, Dr Leggett is a dedicated family man. He spends most of his free time in rural Derbyshire, where he resides, chasing after his three energetic sons.
