Qualified as a GP in 2015 having initially starting Core Surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics, He worked as a GP partner for 8 years in a busy practice in Leicestershire. He completed a masters degree in sports and exercise medicine from the University of bath in 2019 and the Diploma in MSK medicine from the Faculty of sports and exercise medicineย in 2021.
He was team doctor for Wasps rugby team for 6 years working in both the academy and senior mens team as well as provision of general practice services to the team and covid lead. He has also worked at the Glasgow Commonwealth games and is a PHICIS course instructor as well as being a member of the match day medical team at Twickenham for senior internationals. He now works for Leicester Tigers as a match day doctor.
He worked as a speciality doctor in sports medicine at the University Hospitals of Leicester and is now the clinical transformation lead for Orthopaedics in for Leicestershire ICB. He runs the community musculoskeletal service for Leicestershire and has a particular interest in exercise as treatment and prevention of chronic diseases
