Hi, my name is Kudzi and I’m pleased to be one of this year’s USEMS Vice-Presidents!
I’m an FY1 working in the East of England with a passion for sport and SEM. My interest in SEM began through my own involvement in netball, having competed at both grassroots and elite levels.
During medical school, I developed a strong interest in MSK health, completing an Elective in Orthopaedics at Great Ormond Street Hospital and undertaking an MSc in SEM during my intercalated year. Alongside gaining practical experience providing medical cover at local football games and the Lakeland Ultramarathon, I also pursued research on the England Rugby Union warm-
up, which I had the opportunity to present at the 2024 USEMS Conference.
This year, I’m excited to work alongside the committee to grow our network of individuals interested in SEM and implement new initiatives to help more students get involved in the specialty through USEMS.
