Hi everyone! I’m Abu, and I’m excited to be entering my final year of medical school. I’m thrilled to be joining the USEMS committee as the Scotland Representative for the coming year.
I’m passionate about Sports & Exercise Medicine, with a particular enjoyment for running and playing football, and have been actively involved in the field through my role on my university’s SEM committee, as well as helping to organise last year’s USEMS National Conference. I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the committee to make SEM more accessible, engaging, and inspiring for medical students across the UK.
