Jason Feavers

Jason is a specialist in individual and system-level behaviour change with a background in local authority public health and the third sector. His experience includes roles at Cancer Research UK and Rethink Mental Illness, designing and implementing behaviour change interventions as well as delivering training and facilitating sessions with clinicians within primary and secondary care. He is also a Lead Trainer for the RSPH for an NHS HEE funded train the trainer course on MECC for mental health.

Currently, he’s engaged in local systems level behaviour change projects targeting increased physical activity for those with severe mental illness. With an MSc in Behaviour Change for Health and Wellbeing, he’s also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health.

Jason also works as a tutor and assessor in fitness industry training courses, focusing on exercise referral and behaviour change. His expertise extends to cardiac rehab and cancer exercise programmes.

Jason has been involved with FSEM as a Lay Advisor and as a contributor to Moving Medicine consultation guides on cancer and anxiety.
