Giles is a GP in Mid Sussex who also works in an Extended Role in the Chronic Pain Service for Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust with an interest in spinal conditions.

 He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal education and interprofessional training. Having attained his PGCert in Medical education Giles qualified as a GP trainer and has gone on to deliver a range of popular courses with organisations including Red Whale, Versus Arthritis and the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP).

 Giles previously sat on the education committee for the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine and is now a council member and clinical lead for diplomate members of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise medicine. He has run the MSK Medicine podcast and is involved in the development of the training pathways for GPs working in extended roles.
