BASEM 2025 Annual Conference

BASEM 2025 Conference Dinner

7:15
Tuesday
New Dock Hall

The BASEM 2025 Annual Conference dinner on the evening of Day 1 is open is a great way to socialise with fellow participants in a relaxed setting.

This year we are delighted to announce Alistair Brownlee as our after-dinner speaker.  Twice Olympic Gold Medalist and four-time World Champion Triathlete, Alistair will be sharing a look back on his journey from starting medical school to going into competitive triathlon.

In conversation with Mr Andy Grant, Alistair will be reflecting on his competition experiences, injuries and what the future may hold.

The traditional Roger Bannister Medal and David Hemery Award will also be presented to their worthy recipients in recognition of their contribution to SEM, and there will still be time to chat at the bar after dinner - and perhaps try your hand at a little light-hearted competition!
