From Static to Dynamic: Live Hamstring Ultrasound with ProbeFix for Safer Return to Play

8:45
Wednesday
Pearl Suite

This one-hour interactive workshop will introduce ProbeFix, an innovative device that enables stable, high-quality dynamic ultrasound imaging during movement. The session will:

  • Introduce the concept โ€“ how ProbeFix transforms static ultrasound into a tool for real-time, movement-based assessment.
  • Demonstrate the application โ€“ live hamstring imaging during dynamic tasks, showing how tissue behaviour can be captured and interpreted.
  • Explore clinical value โ€“ linking imaging findings to rehabilitation decision-making, targeted physiotherapy, and safer return to play strategies.
  • Engage delegates โ€“ an opportunity to see the product up close and try simple applications for themselves.

By blending theory, live demonstration, and hands-on exposure, this workshop will equip sports doctors, physiotherapists, and sonographers with insights into how dynamic ultrasound can inform rehab, minimise re-injury risk, and individualise return-to-play programmes.

Aimed at: Sports Doctors (Team Doctors, SEM Consultants, SEM Registrars, GP with special interest/ extended role), Physiotherapists, S&C/ Sports therapists, Sonographers

Sponsored by:ย

Usono is a medtech company that radically changes the use of ultrasound by improving and innovating the way ultrasound examinations are performed.

ProbeFix Dynamic is the world's first scientifically proven, commercially available and CE-marked product for continuous, dynamic and wearable ultrasound imaging.ย  ProbeFix Dynamic supports high-quality ultrasound measurements during dynamic exercise. The ProbeFix Dynamic keeps your ultrasound probe in place throughout intense movement. This can be used in sports training, muscle recovery exercises, during general rehabilitation practices or (scientific) research setting. The seamless combination of ProbeFix Dynamic and portable ultrasound systems has made it possible to monitor muscles dynamically while running or cycling.
