Dr Sam Botchey will share practical insights from setting up GLP-1 and lifestyle services in clinical practice. He will discuss pathway design, integration with physiotherapy and nutrition, patient selection, and strategies for combining pharmacological and behavioural approaches.

Dr Sam Botchey is the Head of Performance at the Lanserhof Clinic at The Arts Club in Mayfair, London, and a Consultant in Sport, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Medicine at Pure Sports Medicine, Kensington, and HCA, alongside his work in elite sport with Tottenham Hotspur FC, Brentford FC, and the NFL London Games. His work integrates elite athlete methodologies with regenerative and functional medicine to optimise musculoskeletal longevity, healthspan, and human performance.
Sam undertook Functional Medicine training with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) to critically evaluate the evidence base within this field and identify elements that could strengthen evidence-based sport and exercise medicine. Drawing on selected principles, he has developed integrated frameworks that combine advanced diagnostics, exercise physiology, and regenerative medicine to enhance recovery, resilience, and long-term joint and muscle health.
Dr Botchey is the founder of The StrengthSpan Solutionโข, a performance and longevity model designed to preserve strength, mobility, and vitality across the lifespan. His current focus is on developing structured, data-driven protocols that amplify the outcomes of regenerative medicine procedures – including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), platelet-rich fibrin, hyaluronic acid, Arthrosamid, and cell-based therapies – through precision training, nutrition, and recovery science. His goal is to translate cutting-edge regenerative and performance research into reproducible, clinically effective pathways that extend musculoskeletal healthspan.
