Physical Activity in Pregnancy: A Neglected Priority

Regular physical activity during pregnancy supports the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, yet maintaining optimal levels can be challenging. Dr Liza Pekoลกak will discuss current guidelines, benefits, and common challenges experienced by pregnant women. The talk will also highlight the potential of digital health tools to enhance personalisation and support better health outcomes for mother and baby.

Dr Liza Pekoลกak is a Medical Research Scientist at Kingโ€™s College London and a medical doctor. Her research focusses on maternal health, particularly the preventative role of physical activity during pregnancy and the use of health coaching interventions to improve maternal and foetal outcomes and promote long-term well-being.
