The drive for interdisciplinarity has spurred the growth of cooperation and collaboration among sport and exercise practitioners. When done well, this leads to considered decision-making, coherent messages, and holistic care, and most importantly, performance optimisation. When done poorly, or not at all, bias, poor practice, and groupthink prevail. This presentation aims to explore the complexities of interdisciplinary work, with a specific focus on the role of psychologists in the decision-making and delivery processes.
